Terms of use

Last updated [DATE]

Who these are for

A parent or carer, aged 18 or over, opens the family account and adds their children. Children use Bilhaif through that account, with a PIN the parent sets. By opening an account you agree to these terms for your family.

What Bilhaif is

Maths practice that adapts to each child, in the order most schools teach it. It is not a school, a tutor or an assessment, and it does not replace any of them.

Your account

Keep your password and your children's PINs to yourselves. You are responsible for what is done with your account. If you think someone else has used it, change your password and tell us.

Using Bilhaif fairly

Use Bilhaif for your own family's learning. Don't copy its questions, sign in as someone else, or try to break or overload it.

Paying

Nothing is charged without your agreement. If we ever introduce a charge, we will tell you first, and you decide.

What belongs to whom

Your children's answers are yours; the privacy notice says how we look after them. Bilhaif's questions, design and code belong to Bilhaif. The curriculum sequence comes from Oak National Academy and is used under the Open Government Licence v3.0.

When things change

We work to keep Bilhaif running, but it may sometimes be unavailable, and features may change. If we ever close Bilhaif, we will tell you in advance and give you a way to take a copy of your family's data.

Stopping

You can stop at any time and ask us to delete your family's data. We may close an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why.

Our responsibility

We are responsible for loss we cause by not taking reasonable care, and for anything the law does not let us exclude. We are not responsible for loss we could not reasonably have foreseen. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have by law.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, the new date appears at the top. If a change matters to you, we will email you before it takes effect.
